Making a Bold Statement in Your Powder Room

February 27, 2025

When designing a home, many of us focus on the larger, more visible spaces like the living room or kitchen, leaving the powder room to blend in. But this small, often-overlooked space could be the perfect canvas for making a bold design statement. With its limited square footage, the powder room offers the opportunity to experiment with vibrant colors, unique patterns, and daring textures that can transform it into a striking and unforgettable space. Whether you’re looking to infuse some personality, showcase your style, or simply surprise your guests, making a bold statement in your powder room can leave a lasting impression.

Residence in Mashpee

This visual stunner in shades of teal is from our Mashpee project. It features a real shell application by Arte on the wall below the chair rail, with a complementary monochromatic performance vinyl from Thibault above it. The ceiling fixture is crafted from porcupine quills, contributing to an incredible amount of texture and visual interest in the space.

Residence on Melrose

The powder room at our project on Melrose brings a dark and moody statement to the modern home. A black crocodile skin textured wallpaper fills the space from ceiling to floor of the first-floor powder room. The stark contrast between the white fixtures and chrome finishes makes this space a knockout!

Weston Modern Prairie

This Modern Prairie-Style home has many stand-out moments, including the powder room on the main floor. The bold wallpaper is from Area Environments, and a stunning light fixture from the client’s former house adds a touch of sparkle to the space.
