A Residential Architecture Firm for New Construction

Envisioning a new home built to meet your specific needs, lifestyle and aesthetic is both an exciting and a daunting process. When working on a new construction project, our design experts begin the initial planning sessions with more questions than answers, helping our clients flesh out that vision. We provide feedback on site placement and feasibility, design the home taking advantage of natural light and views, focus on our clients’ definition of ideal function and style, then oversee the process. This is how we transform your dream home into reality, managing every detail until the project is complete

During the process of designing and building your home, we work collaboratively with builders, landscape designers, and interior designers bringing a unique sensibility to every project. Our team approach means a seamless process of design, construction and finishes are at the foundation of each new home construction project.

Building A New Home In Weston, MA

There are many advantages to building a new house from the ground up, one that you have designed to meet your specific lifestyle. The owner of this award-winning Modern Farmhouse wanted a large open floor plan with enough room for entertaining along with warm and cozy spaces for family time. We used innovative design techniques to bring together these seemingly contradictory elements into a stunning design that we call “modern craftsman.”

Outside, we created a huge wraparound porch and a three-car garage – stunning as you come up the drive. Inside, the house is open and airy with 10-foot ceilings, but with well-defined living spaces. A large marble kitchen and large main bathroom certainly convey the house’s size. But there are more intimate spaces throughout including a snug TV lounge, a parlor area with glass doors leading out to the porch, a semi-enclosed game room with a barn door entrance, and a study that doubles as a small sitting room for two in front of the grey faux-marble fireplace.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are generous but not ostentatious. We continued the craftsman motif with exposed timbers in the ceilings, a textured-stone fireplace in the master bedroom, custom stairs and railings, reclaimed wood features, and craftsman-style paneling.

This home has been honored with the Gold Builders & Remodelers Association of Greater Boston 2020 PRISM Award for Best Detached Home: 6,000 to 8,000 Square Feet. You can see more images in our Portfolio.
