Our Favorite Kid Spaces

February 28, 2024

A home is built for every family member, from gathering spaces like the kitchen and living areas to primary suites, where parents can escape to their personal oasis. Perhaps the most important spaces are ones for the kids to call their own. Kids’ bedrooms should reflect their interests and be a comfortable place to spend time, regardless of age. Below are some of our favorite spaces that make any kid feel at home!

Our award-winning Modern Prairie project built two kid spaces, which reside on the second floor of the home, above the primary suite. Each room is reflective of the child’s personality and interests. The design of this particular room reflects the child’s fascination with space—a personal oasis with its very own en-suite bathroom.

The inspiration for this nursery was a dreamy space to nurture creativity while still providing a sense of calm. The roofline provides a cozy nook, creating a dramatic component to the space and its varying textures. You can see more about this project in the current issue of Modern Luxury Interiors HERE
