Residence on Waban Hill Road Newton, MA

Our clients hired us to help them reimagine their Newton Tudor home to better function for their growing family. The kitchen was opened up to the two adjacent rooms, which created an informal dining area and sitting area. The powder room was relocated to allow for a wet-bar, and we converted a screened porch into a sunken TV area.

In addition, we worked with our clients on the interior design, helping them select the cabinetry, finishes, and furniture. This included the kitchen’s dramatic stone selections that drove the general aesthetic, a black, white, and gray color palette with joyful pops of orange.

This project is an excellent example of how Slocum Hall Design Group can serve as both architect and interior designer, incorporating all aspects of the exterior and interior from start to finish.
