Residence in Mashpee Cape Cod

This new construction in Mashpee was built as a generic spec house. The homeowners were looking for something more catered to them, so we were brought in to help transform the builder grade home to something completely custom.

The aesthetic of the home is best described as quiet coastal, with more of a Northern California inspiration. The kitchen was designed to cater to the homeowner, who is an avid baker. On one side a wall of cabinets lines the space with a paneled refrigerator in the middle. Perpendicular to that is a custom baker’s station with concealed storage for all the equipment. Custom architectural trim work was done throughout the home, and in the living space custom beams were added to the ceiling to create added texture. Upstairs, the bright and airy game room that sits above the garage gives the kids a much bonus room. Lastly, the customized details of the staircase emphasize the architectural design throughout.
