Gambrel on Beaver Weston, MA

We were hired by our clients to design a 6000 square foot shingle-style Gambrel situated on a very complicated lot. Challenged to maximize every possible inch of the usable lot, the home’s design took on a unique shape, as shown in the aerial view. The interior program consists of a dramatic entry and stair hall with a two-and-a-half-story soaring ceiling with a second-floor hallway overlooking the first level and generously proportioned rooms on the main floor. There are five bedroom suites on the second floor and a naturally lit basement featuring a media room, gym, and recreation room.
